Haik-Vantoura, The Music of the Bible Revealed: The Deciphering of a Millenary Notation, 2nd Rev edition---fascinating work on interpreting the Masoretic text.
Wellesz (Editor), Ancient and Oriental Music (New Oxford History of Music, Vol.1)--an old reference.
Evidence of Harmony in Ancient Music---some interesting material, but we would not venture any conclusions.
A History of Ancient Greek music---a brief introduction to 330 BC.
Ancient Greek Music---all significant fragments of Ancient Greek music rendered in MIDI and Real, with a commentary on modulations. Very impressive.
Homeric Singing---an attempt to reconstruct an ancient performance practice, with a method in German. Most commendable.
Panpipe Harmonae---some surprisingly good material here, particularly regarding the ancient modes.
